Checkers (also known as Draughts) is a classic strategy board game for two players. The game is played on an 8×8 board with 12 pieces per player. Players move diagonally forward, capturing opponent pieces by jumping over them. When a piece reaches the opposite side, it becomes a King, gaining the ability to move both forward and backward.
