Introducing NeoRadio – a custom, lightweight, and highly practical plugin (.ipk package) that redefines the radio listening experience on Enigma2 systems. Forget clunky players – NeoRadio focuses on elegance, stability, and ease of use.

Massive Station Database: The latest update includes over 5,265 radio stations – ranging from local broadcasters to niche stations worldwide.

Multilingual Support: The plugin automatically detects your system language (English or Polish).
RDS / ICY: Comprehensive station info (bitrate, genre) and a "Now Playing" feature (song titles).
Picon System: Supports picons from your SAT/IPTV resources, displayed in a large, aesthetic panel.
Screen Protection: A stylish screensaver with a floating clock (fully configurable in the menu).

Technical Specs & Customization​

Format: .ipk package, installable traditionally or via FTP command.
Custom Playlists: Supports .m3u, .pls, and .asx files. You can also add your own stations via JSON: /etc/enigma2/neoradio_user_stations.json.
Easy Updates: Update the plugin directly from the NeoRadio menu – fast and hassle-free.

NeoRadio Update – New version now available!​
Update directly from the radio menu.

I have prepared a package of fixes and improvements for NeoRadio. I focused primarily on polishing the visual layer and ensuring display stability across various configurations.

Here is what has changed in the latest version:

Design & Layout​

Main Window Optimization: Improved the layout based on your feedback – the interface is now more intuitive and organized.
Top Panel: Resized and moved the top picon/fallback. No more graphics overlapping the date and EQ – every element now has its own space.
Bottom Picon: The large graphic in the bottom panel has been adjusted to sit cleaner and more aesthetically within its frame.
Clock: The large clock in the center field has been precisely centered and visually refined.
Enhanced EQ: The visual equalizer has gained more dynamics and clarity.

Stability & Compatibility​

FHD & HD: Improved layout scaling for both resolutions. Since the plugin uses its own layout, it now runs more stably regardless of the system skin you are using.
Smart Picons: Added more accurate matching based on bouquet references. The system is now more precise in selecting logos while avoiding "loose" or incorrect graphics.
Visual Radio: The "Visual Radio" fallback now only appears where a correct picon is genuinely missing.

Localization​

EN Translations: Refined the English language throughout the interface, including date formatting and key UI descriptions.
