Technical Specs & Customization​

Format: .ipk package, installable traditionally or via FTP command.
Custom Playlists: Supports .m3u, .pls, and .asx files. You can also add your own stations via JSON: /etc/enigma2/neoradio_user_stations.json.
Easy Updates: Update the plugin directly from the NeoRadio menu – fast and hassle-free.

NeoRadio v2.1 — new update

I am releasing a new version of the NeoRadio v2.1 plugin for Enigma2.

In this version, the main change is the way radio stations are loaded. NeoRadio no longer relies only on a fixed local station list. Instead, stations are now loaded online from the popular Radio-Browser database.

For a long time, I received many requests about missing specific radio stations. Unfortunately, I am not able to handle every single request and manually add every station, especially because stream links often change, expire, or work differently on a computer than on an Enigma2 receiver.

That is why I decided that NeoRadio should use a popular online radio database, so every user can have a larger and more flexible selection of stations.

Changes in NeoRadio v2.1:

NeoRadio now works in Radio-Browser Online mode,
after opening the plugin, the station list is downloaded from the server,
by default, the list is selected according to the language/country set in the receiver,
the user can choose another country and download stations for the selected region,
temporary installation files are cleaned after installation,
the station database is dynamic and may change over time.

Important information

After opening NeoRadio, please wait several seconds until the station list is downloaded from the server.

The loading time depends on your internet connection and the availability of the Radio-Browser server.

The station database is dynamic. Stations may appear, disappear, or change their stream links. If the list does not load correctly, some stations are missing, or you want to refresh the list, use the reload stations option from the menu.
