IPTV Dream is a tool for quick and convenient importing of IPTV lists to your Enigma2 tuners (OpenATV, OpenPLi, etc.).
The plugin creates ready-made bouquets (favorites lists) based on your data.

Supported sources:
-MAC Portal (Stalker): Just provide the portal address and MAC – the plugin downloads the list and tokens by itself.
-Xtream Codes: Login via host, username, and password.
-M3U Files: Loading lists from .m3u files saved on the tuner's HDD/USB.
-M3U Links: Direct list downloading from a URL address.

KEY CHANGES:

Super Fast Keyboard: No more stuttering! I completely rewrote the data entry handling. Now, after selecting an option (e.g., MAC Portal), the keyboard window opens immediately, without unnecessary intermediate screens or lag. Typing is smooth and trouble-free.
Stable Playback (Black Screen Fix): We implemented fixes for Stalker/MAC servers that were blocking access. The plugin now identifies itself as a MAG250 decoder, which eliminates the "black screen" problem on most portals.
EPG Mega Pack: I added automatic installation of a rich set of EPG sources (Poland, UK, USA, Germany, Africa). The plugin generates the source file for EPG Import automatically! – Note: You must select these sources in EPG Import and download them manually.
Intelligent EPG Matching: A new algorithm ("Shotgun") generates dozens of name variants for each channel (e.g., SkySports1, sky-sports-1.uk), so EPG finally works on foreign channels!
Clean Channel Names: We automatically remove junk from channel names (like PL VIP, FHD, RAW), making the list look aesthetic and professional.
Better Updater: Fixed online update errors (no more ZIP archive error messages).
UI Fixes: Removed unnecessary prompts (e.g., about GUI restart – now the plugin only informs you what to do).

New Update: IPTV Dream v6.5.2 is Now Live!​
Following our recent discussions and based on your valuable feedback, I am excited to announce the release of IPTV Dream v6.5.2. This update focuses heavily on stability, cleaner code, and resolving the most common issues reported by the community.

My main goal for this version was to eliminate bugs and streamline how the plugin handles portal data and updates.

What’s New in v6.5.2?​
MAC Address Handling & Normalization

Better Compatibility: Added canonical MAC normalization. The plugin now accepts various formats (using :, -, ., spaces, or raw 12-hex strings) and validates them before the handshake.
Auto-Repair: The saved portal list is now automatically repaired. This includes deduplication, cleaning up invalid entries, and migrating old JSON formats.
Consistency: Unified host normalization across GUI, WebIF, and save/load paths to prevent broken records and duplicate entries.
Improved Security: Saved lists now display normalized values consistently and use safer "add/update" logic.

Smarter Updates

Version Control: The updater now uses Semantic Versioning. It will no longer blindly treat any version difference as a "newer" release, making the update process much more reliable.
Cleaner Installs: Improved the way the updater locates files within GitHub ZIP archives. It also automatically removes __pycache__ and test artifacts after installation to keep your system lean.

Optimization & Metadata

Lightweight Package: Removed unnecessary developer files and runtime artifacts (.pyc files, test scripts) from the IPK payload.
Modernized Code: Updated metadata for full Python 3 and GitHub support.
